A1E Skyraider Emergency Landing
Two A1E Skyraider prop-driven bombers and their O10 Skymaster spotter plane were working an operation west of Dak To. One of the A1Es was hit (I think) and oil was covering the wind screen, making it difficult for him to see. His wingmates guided him down to an emergency landing at Dak To.

While working VFR tower, we got a call from the pilot saying he was leaking oil and it had obscured his vision. His wingman flew him down to the runway. As soon as he touched down, he hit the brakes, skidding off the north side of the runway about a 150 ft. away from the tower. When he got into the dirt, he tipped forward, bending his prop. Everyone was kept away until his guns where unloaded. They eventually sent out a crew to repair the aircraft and it flew away.
