Chris Ross has contributed his story to Dak To Memories, describing his time serving as an infantryman at several sites around Dak To.
His first site was Fire Support Base 29, west of Dak To. Unfortunately, Chris did not take photos, but others did.
Homer Steedly has a website where he, and others that were there, share their stories and photos of FSB 29 and other sites they were at.
Homer as given me permission to use some of those photos here. I have copied those photos that show FSB 29, so that you can easily view them while reading Chris' story.

About Homer, Chris Ross says: For a time, I think his unit and mine both operated in the same general area. However, I never was aware of it. My "world", at that time, revolved around A 3/12. Homer was a lieutenant in B 1/8. During the late summer/fall of 1968 both our units were attached to the 1st Brigade of the 4th ID. A few years ago I discovered his website and added some pictures and memories.
