I don't know what made me think of Dak To on Sunday morning. I found your site and spent several hours looking around. Seems some of my memories are fading.
I was in the 4th and in that area from 3/68 till 2/69. I was mostly in the immediate hills over looking the air field. Hill 1338, 1040, 890, 840. Also a place we called the bridge, it was like our r&r center when we were rotated in there. This must have been the hi way 512 you mention. It was either hill 890 or 840 that overlooked Ben Het, don't remember which. Any way I was wondering if you had any info on these hills or that area closer to the air field.
Enjoyed the web page, may God bless you and yours.
