Hi Ernie.
I was doing a google search on Dak To when I came across your website.
I was a USAF SSgt Radio guy assigned to the 5th Special Forces at Dak To in 1967. I think I left Dak To in early June, 1967, can’t remember now. There was only 5 of us AF guys at Dak To: 2 O1E Bird Dog pilots, 2 radio guys (I was one), and an aircraft mechanic. We had one O1E Bird Dog Forward Air Control aircraft.
I left at a good time-understand Dak To got hit after I left.
Just thought I’d let you know that I was there.
