My name is Merlin Koester I was in Vietnam from Sept 67 to July 68. I spent Oct 67 to around Feb 68 at the Dak To airstrip.
The picture on your web page titled" Ammo Dump at Dak To" shows my Co maintenance tent and the area to the far left of the picture was where I lived for most of the time I was in Dak To. I was with Headquarters Co of the 299th Eng. We were attached to the 15th Eng. The picture was taken before the ammo dump went up because the ammo dump was destroyed and we moved our operation inside the 15th compound.
